About

Medical Background

I graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2007 with a medical degree with distinction in Bio Medical Sciences.
I worked as a Junior Doctor in various specialities including Surgery, Medicine, General Practice and and carried out three placements in accident and emergency. I graduated as a General Practitioner in August 2012 and soon became a partner in a 20,000 patient practice. I have held this post for the last 6 years and have also been appointed as Clinical Director of a Primary Care Network which is composed of 30,000 patients and 4 practices.

Being a GMC medical Doctor, I always ensure I practice to the highest standard ensuring patient safety and good communication skills. I am trained by a cosmetic course from the UK’s most established and long standing training provider for medical professionals.

Trained with Cosmetic courses the UK’s longest established provider

Throughout my training, I applied with various rotations within medicine, surgeries and accident and emergency. In addition, I worked additional shifts within A & E working at middle grade advising Junior Doctors with clinical cases as well as dealing with complex cases. Relevant to my skills and aesthetic practitioner, much of my role within A & E involved minor procedures such as suturing removal of foreign bodies from delicate areas such as the eye and the hand which helped develop my skills and admiration of anaesthetic and delicate minor surgical procedures being done in a high pressure environment.

I would say as a clinician, my strengths include my compassion for my patients, my ability to listen to my patients and communicate effectively as well as demonstrate good leadership skills and reliability with my colleagues.

Consultation process

I always advise during a consultation for you to have time to think about treatments before you decide to go ahead.
I do understand that if you are travelling a distance to my location then it is understandable that this can be done over the telephone, although ideally this should be done face to face. A face to face consult is needed prior to progressing with any treatment.
This will give me time to make assessments of your aesthetic needs as well as for you to ask any questions you may have. This is a no obligation session and of course I am happy to discuss any questions you may have either in the face to face consult or on the telephone if there are any further questions that you might have.

Service and expectation of Dr JS Aesthetics

You can expect to be treated to a very high professional standard.
Prior to any treatment being offered, you will be given a full consultation and explanation of the treatments given and any questions you may have answered.
You will be given a realistic assessment of what you can expect when it comes to results as well as potential complications of the procedure.
As well as carrying out the procedure itself, you will also receive aftercare advice and a follow up as and when needed.
My aim is to provide thorough consultations and good treatment planning – this is to ensure a long standing doctor patient relationship over time. This will be beneficial to yourself as you will have a clinician you can rely upon who you know has high clinical standards.
